The design approach focused on integrating style, opulence, and functionality, emphasising the seamless influx of natural light and an emphasis on open floor plans.
A quote that encapsulates this philosophy is, “I think that people want to feel good in a space. On the one hand, it’s about shelter, but it’s also about pleasure.”
As the adage goes, “Recognizing the need is the primary condition for design.” Our paramount objective was to harmonise aesthetics with practicality.
It is hard to give a testimonial to someone who becomes like family through their approach to work, more than their work itself!
Bhagyashri and Abhijeet have done three residences for us and over the years have made us so comfortable that the professional and personal lines have indeed blurred!
There will always be a few misses when you undertake a project of the nature of doing an entire house, however, kudos to the couple for being patient, understanding and flexible in tune with our needs.
They take great pains to understand our taste and needs so well that they do the scouting and shortlisting of designs and materials themselves making it very easy and quick for us to finalise things.
Their focus has always been on creating a space that we will happily live in – as opposed to creating a “show” residence that will look good in their portfolio. A “client first” approach is so rare in these times!
